1. Scope & who we are
Vizlet is a sales-intelligence platform that turns in-person contact exchanges (via NFC smart cards or QR codes) into enriched, CRM-ready leads. The data controller responsible for your information is:
- RevApex AI Private Limited
- CIN: U62020OD2026PTC053899
- Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India
- Email: privacy@vizlet.io
This policy applies to "Account Users" (people whose organisations subscribe to Vizlet) and to "Contacts" (people whose details are captured and enriched through the Service).
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account & profile data: name, work email, phone number, job title, company, and the digital business-card details you choose to publish.
- Billing data: billing contact, organisation details, and payment information processed by our payment providers (we do not store full card numbers).
- Support & communications: messages you send us and early-access sign-ups.
Information from contact exchanges
- Captured contact data: when a card is tapped or a code is scanned, we process the contact details shared in that exchange (e.g., name, company, email, phone).
- Enriched data: firmographics, role, public professional profiles, company size and revenue ranges, and a lead score derived from the above (see Section 4).
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data: app and dashboard interactions, device type, operating system, IP address, and approximate location.
- Cookies & similar technologies: used on our websites for essential functionality, preferences, and aggregate analytics. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and secure the Service, including capturing contacts and syncing them to your CRM;
- Perform AI enrichment and lead scoring on captured contacts;
- Process subscriptions, ship NFC cards, and provide customer support;
- Communicate service updates, security notices, and (where permitted) marketing you can opt out of;
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the Service and develop new features;
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases (where applicable, e.g., under GDPR): performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, your consent (where required), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. AI enrichment & data sources
Enrichment draws on the contact details captured during an exchange together with reputable business-data sources and publicly available professional information. We take reasonable steps to source enrichment data lawfully and to limit it to business-context attributes. Account Users are responsible for ensuring their use of captured and enriched data complies with applicable laws (including marketing and anti-spam laws) and with any notice or consent obligations toward the Contacts they capture.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as follows:
- With your organisation: contacts and enrichment captured by Account Users are available to their organisation's Vizlet workspace and administrators.
- With CRMs and integrations you connect: at your direction, captured and enriched data is written to your connected CRM (see Section 6).
- With service providers: hosting, analytics, payment processing, customer support, and data-enrichment vendors acting on our instructions under appropriate contracts.
- For legal reasons: to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the public.
- In a business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. CRM & third-party integrations
Vizlet connects to CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, and Bigin via OAuth. We request only the scopes needed to sync leads, and we never ask for or store your CRM password. When you write data to a connected CRM, that data becomes subject to the third party's own terms and privacy policy. You can disconnect an integration at any time from your dashboard.
7. Data retention
We retain account and contact data for as long as your organisation maintains an active Vizlet workspace, and thereafter only as needed to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Account Users can delete captured contacts from the dashboard; upon account closure, we delete or anonymise personal data within a commercially reasonable period unless retention is legally required.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, OAuth-based integrations, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a personal-data breach that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
9. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@vizlet.io.
- Contacts: if your details were captured and enriched by an organisation using Vizlet, that organisation is the controller of that data; we will route your request to them and assist as a processor where applicable.
- Marketing: you can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Essential service messages are not optional while you hold an account.
10. International transfers
We operate in India and serve customers in India and the United States. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
